The Beach Bulletin has been documenting important happenings and events on Fort Myers Beach since its debut in 1951.
After more than half a century, it is the Beach's premiere entertainment newspaper, offering readers detailed news of
the entertainment scene in Fort Myers Beach and other parts of Lee County.
Early on, it was a small publication. It was composed the old-fashioned way — on a typewriter. Today, as part of the
Breeze Newspapers Beach division, its staffers use computers and pagination software to design each issue, which is
printed at our new print site center near Southwest Florida International Airport.
The Bulletin today fills a niche ignored by others — it answers the questions, "What can we do that's entertaining tonight."
"Where can I eat a fresh seafood dinner and then listen to some music for the night?" The Bulletin tells readers what's out there to see and do.
It also is the primary source of information for tourists vacationing at the Beach as well as for area "day trippers"
who want to enjoy the beaches and some of the best seafood and live entertainment to be found in Lee County.
The Bulletin looks forward to continued growth with the Beach communities we serve.
